    Division Order Analyst

    Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
     

    Revenue Distribution

    • Perform a series of analytical and revenue/royalty related activities from well completion to authorization and payment of funds to ensure timely processing

    Interest Owner Management/Customer Service

    • Process all requests for changes in Revenue/JIB Owner contact information, send to Finance for approval and completion
    • Process all changes of interest ownership
    • Communicate with interest owners, answering questions regarding their interest, or transfer of interest
    • Locate owners or their heirs/devisees with whom we lose contact

    Suspense Funds Management/Unclaimed Property Management

    • Complete and file Unclaimed property to the Oklahoma State Treasurer’s office each Fall
    • Complete and file 1081 form to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission each Summer
    • Audit suspense funds, locate missing owners, and work with owners to reduce the amount of funds Kirkpatrick holds in suspense

    Records Management

    • Create and maintain “pinkie file”. This file holds documents related to divisions of interest and interest changes

    Non-Operated Oil and Gas Division Orders

    • Verify the interest and clear any title issue that may prevent payment on a non-op well where KOG holds an interest
    Education/Experience Requirements:
    • Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
    • 5 years’ related IT experience. Solid understanding of system administration tools process, procedures and controls
    • College degree
    • Division order, legal and/or title experience preferred but not necessary
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
    • Experience with Enertia software is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communications skills
    • Strong comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Must be proactive, focused, and able to work independently
    • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Must have strong math skills and ability to easily interpret numbers
    • Must be able to read and interpret legal documents
    • Knowledge of real property and estate law is a plus

    IT Administrator

    Kirkpatrick Oil Company is seeking an IT Administrator to add to it's team. Position reports to CFO. 

    Responsibilities:
    • Direct the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware and software
    • Develop and implement all IT policies/procedures, including architecture of systems, security, disaster recovery, purchasing and service provision
    • Maintains databases including system security functions and systems documentation
    • Develop, maintain and report on information technology budget
    • Maintains high level of confidentiality in all aspects of job
    • Troubleshoot system malfunctions; coordinate support with external vendors
    Requirements:
    • Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
    • 5 years’ related IT experience. Solid understanding of system administration tools process, procedures and controls
    • Strong MS platform knowledge and skills
    • Enertia Software experience a plus
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL with proficiency in query writing preferred
    • Ability to think/act strategically and proactively
    • Strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
    • Interpersonal skills capable of cultivating/maintaining excellent working relationships with team members, peers, business users and external vendors
    • On-call availability and some travel to district offices
